Message The Z would never qualify as one of the first to do HID's because so many other applications preceeded it.

But for 4WS - I knew the Prelude had it before the Z (the MX-6 was a surprise tho). And the other items you listed also support that the Z was indeed one of the first to apply this technology.

Anyone remember the Nissan Mid-4 concepts? The Z32 was a benefactor of all that work.
